Frequently asked questions
- What levels does My English School serve?
- The centre offers English programmes for children from Nursery 1 through Kindergarten 2 and primary students from Primary 1 through Primary 6. Its preschool Reading Programme supports early literacy, while primary programmes cover academic English and PSLE preparation.
- How are students placed into classes?
- New students can take a free assessment of their English abilities. Education advisers use the results to recommend a suitable class, and the Reading Programme places children according to ability rather than age.
- How does the centre monitor student progress?
- Teachers monitor and record each student’s learning progress throughout the term. Findings may be shared with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings or informal discussions, and parents can request an appointment with the teacher through an education adviser.
